Making a difference

Never before in the history of the world has it been possible for companies to make such an impact on the world around them.  These changes to the world have historically been brought about by the church, nations or individual world leaders.  Now, companies are the benefactors to environmental and social responsibilities.

Our company is small , but at ENERSOL Solar Products we feel we can begin to make a difference.

Firstly our product is manufactured to save people having to rely on fossil fuels to warm their pool.  Our product uses the sun to warm the pool; saving fuel, money and the environment.  There are no emmissions emited when the sun warms the water through our system.

Our offices are run on alternative energy.  All our lights and computers are run using the electricity made from our wind generator and bank of photovoltaic panels.  The power is stored in batteries and if there is excess electricity, we sell it to the grid.  We heat our offices with a renewable resources corn stove.

We are also the stewards of 22 acres of wetlands.  Here we have sponsored bird banding with local universities, release of wood ducks, birds of prey, phesants and other wetland creatures.  These wetlands filter the water for our local river, Bronte Creek.

As important as the environment is, we feel strongly about people and humanitarian relief.  We have assisted in the funding of a midwife to go to Africa to work with local midwives, training and assisting them in saving babies lives.  We have also helped fund a student, who is interested in becoming a midwife in Africa.  Having a family company has made us at ENERSOL very family oriented and empathetic towards the challenges of motherhood.  A little help makes a huge difference in the lives of these people.
