Automatic System Control

The AquaSolar® system from GoldLine Controls gives you total solar system control with digital display of pool temperature and solar system temperature. Plus, full system diagnostic LED's. The Aqua Solar is set by a single dial adjustment for desired pool temperature. The AquaSolar® offers selectable high limit, programmable re circulation freeze protection and nocturnal cooling to customize any installation.

Sensors:
Installation of the 10K water sensor:

Drill a 5/16" hole into the incoming water pipe, usually between the filter and diverter valve (feed line).
Install the plastic dylinder shaped sensor into the 1 1/2" PVC pipe to sense the water temperature.
Wires go through the hole in the stainless gear clamp and are clamped tight.

Use wire connectors (marr caps) for connecting the sensor leads to the sensor wire (2 line phone cord).
Tie a knot in the cable wire and sensor leads to act as a strain relief.  Wrap with electrical tape for extra protection.

Installation of the 10k roof sensor:

Install the black sensor on the roof where it receives sunlight similar to the solar collectors.  Install on the roof, not on the panels.
Use the TEK screw to mount to the roof.

Use wire connectors (marr caps) for connecting the sensor leads to the sensor wire (2 line phone cord).
Tie a knot in the cable wire and sensor leads to act as a strain relief.  Wrap with electrical tape for extra protection.

How to attach the Goldline Valve Actuator to the manual valve:

-Remove the handle from the 3 way valve
-set the actuator on top of the 3 way valve
-line up the splines on the shaft and slide the actuator onto the valve ( it should only fit one way) and note which screws on the 3 way valve correspond to the holes on the actuator
-remove the 4 short screws on the 3 way valve that correspond to the 4 holes on the actuator
slide the actuator and 3 way valve together and using the enclosed long screws,  join together.
- replace the handle on top of the actuator

(I) felt the water from the jets and was shocked that it was actually almost too hot to have it on my hand. Most impressive design. Thank you!
